Deputies are investigating a Santa Clarita assault that sent at least one person to the hospital Friday afternoon.
Around 4 p.m. Friday, first responders received reports of an assault on 15th Street and Railroad Avenue in Newhall, said Charisma Murillo, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“It was for a battery in progress involving two males,” said Sgt. Elsee, with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
At least one person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition, according to officials on scene.
As of 4:30 p.m. Friday, it is unknown if any arrests have been made, according to Sheriff’s officials.
