Eye On The Valley – iLEAD and Diversity In SCV – October 1, 2021

On this episode of Eye On The Valley, our host Matt Watson talks with guests Valerie Bradford, Jeffrey Thompson, Chad Powell, and Martha Spansel-Pellico. Matt starts off the show by talking with Valerie and Jeffrey from Santa Clarita’s branch of the NAACP. Valerie and Jeffrey talk about what NAACP is doing to help diversify and create equality for everyone in the community. NAACP actually has some events that they will be hosting soon in this upcoming month and both Valerie and Jeffrey talk about these events.

In the second hour of Eye On The Valley, our host Matt Watson talks with SCVi’s new directors, Chad Powell and Martha Spansel-Pellico. Matt and the directors go into what plans are being used in school now for this school year, and what events SCVi will be doing for their students. Later in the second hour, Tony Watson joins the show to talk with Matt and our engineers with another fun segment of “Big T’s Five Minutes of Fame”.

Listen in as Matt, Monica, Jesse, Tina, and Tony talk about, Gilchrist farms, SCVi homeschooling, and College Of The Canyons Athletics.
