A stolen vehicle suspect was taken into custody at gun point in Santa Clarita Tuesday afternoon.
Around 3:05 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy spotted a stolen vehicle near Newhall Avenue and Arch Street in Newhall, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“It was for a stolen vehicle,” Arriaga said.
The deputy held the suspect at gun point, and once backup arrived the individual was taken into custody.
