Four Graffiti Suspects Wanted For Assault With Deadly Weapon In Santa Clarita

An assault with a deadly weapon investigation began on Sunday after a person in a group of four graffiti suspects allegedly pointed a gun at a witness to the vandalism in Santa Clarita.

Around 10:55 a.m. Sunday, deputies received reports of an assault with a deadly weapon on the 29000 block of Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus, according to Lt. James Royal with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

The altercation allegedly began when four suspects involved in graffiti at the location pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at a bystander, according to Royal.

“The victim witnessed four suspects involved in graffiti at a park,” Royal said. “One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim.”

The four suspects proceeded to get into a nearby vehicle and started heading southbound down Bouquet Canyon Road, according to Royal.

The four suspects in the vehicle are outstanding as of 1 p.m. Sunday and the investigation remains ongoing, according to Royal.

No injuries were reported.
