On this episode of Eye On The Valley, our host Matt Watson talks with guests Dr. Cherise Moore, Farnaz Kaufman, and Tony Watson. Matt starts off the show by talking with William S. Hart School District Board President Dr. Cherise Moore. Matt and Dr. Moore, talk about school and serving on the board and what she has done that led her to being a great educational leader. Later in the hour, Matt and Dr. Moore discuss some of the challenges and successes of being on the board.
In the second hour of Eye On The Valley, our host Matt Watson talks with one of SCVi’s Dual Language Immersion leaders, Farnaz Kaufman. Matt and Farnaz talk about the Dua Language Immersion Program, and how it helps students learn two different languages at the same time. Later in the second hour, Tony Watson joins the show to talk with Matt and our engineers with another fun segment of “Big T’s Five Minutes of Fame”.
