Deputies Investigate Santa Clarita Shooting Near Jake’s Way, No Injuries Reported

Deputies are investigating a Santa Clarita shooting that occurred near Jake’s Way early Friday morning.

At around 2 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to reports of a shooting on Danielson Street in Canyon Country near Jake’s Way, according to Sgt. Keith Greene with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“There was a shooting that occurred,” Greene said. “However, when deputies responded they weren’t able to find anyone.”

As of late Friday morning, law enforcement officials have not yet identified any suspects or victims involved in the incident.

The shooting remains under investigationFriday morning, Greene said.
