The California Department of Transportation (CalTrans) has announced that various on and off ramps on the eastbound 210 Freeway are set to be closed for 45 days for paving, with some closures starting tonight.
Caltrans is expected to shut down six ramps in the San Fernando Valley for at least 45 days beginning in late August and early September so they can pave and expand the ramps.
The closure is scheduled to occur following areas and times, according to officials:
Wheatland Avenue on and off ramps on the eastbound 210 beginning Aug. 23
Eastbound Yarnell Street on and off-ramps beginning Aug. 30
Eastbound Polk Street on and off ramps beginning Sept. 9
People in the above areas may hear noise, feel vibrations or see dust because of the paving efforts, authorities said.
In addition to paving the road on the ramps, crews are set to pave the far-right lane of the freeway, officials with CalTrans said.

Closures are subject to change and are only expected to occur if weather permits.
Drivers can check traffic conditions before leaving for their locations using the Caltrans Quickmap.
The closure is the latest in a series of construction efforts on the 210, which are part of a $135.5 million project to repave all lanes of the freeway from Wheatland Avenue to the I-5.
The project, funded by the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, is also set to replace overhead signs, traffic loop detectors, the center median barrier and guardrail system on the 210 freeway.
