A brush fire broke out Saturday, prompting a response From firefighters on the 14 Freeway near Escondido Canyon Road.
UPDATE (4:50 p.m.): The location of the fire has been updated to the 14 Freeway near Agua Dulce Canyon Road, and has burned five acres, according to Fire officials.
The brush fire, dubbed the Escondido Fire was first reported around 4 p.m. Saturday on the northbound 14 Freeway near Escondido Canyon Road north of Santa Clarita, according to Fire officials.
As of 4:20 p.m., the 14 Freeway brush fire has burned three acres with no structures threatened.
Traffic on the 14 Freeway is expected to be impacted.
