94-Year-Old Glendale Man Identified After Being Found Dead Near Bear Divide

A Glendale man was identified after being found dead southeast of Santa Clarita Monday evening near Bear Divide. 

Won Lee, 94, from Glendale was identified as the person found dead, said Sarah Ardalani, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.  

Around 5 p.m. Monday, first respoders received reports of a dead body east of Bear Divide and Sand Canyon Road, said Lt. Jim Royal, for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

As of Wednesday, the cause of death remains unknown.
