4.3 Earthquake Hits Near Carson City, Felt In Santa Clarita

A magnitude 4.3 earthquake struck near the city of Carson on Friday, with residents across Santa Clarita reportedly feeling the quake.

At around 8:00 p.m. on Friday, a magnitude 4.3 earthquake was reported near Carson and felt in areas of Santa Clarita, according to officials with the United States Geological Survey.

A fire has been reported at an oil refinery in Carson. No injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.
