Santa Clarita Public Library Hosts Free Inclusive Summer Celebration At Canyon Country Park

Officials with the Santa Clarita Public Library and the Include Everyone Project SCV (IEPSCV) have partnered together to host a free inclusive summer celebration later this month.

The event is scheduled to take place at Canyon Country Park on Saturday, July 17, at 9:30 a.m., according to officials.

This “Magical Summer Celebration” is set to bring creative activities to Santa Clarita, according to City of Santa Clarita officials.

The event is said to include music, movement, acting, crafts, storytelling, improv games an obstacle course, and designated craft stations.

“IEPSCV is committed to providing creative arts programming for children with disabilities,” according to city officials.

This summer’s inclusive celebration is one of many outdoor events that the Santa Clarita Library and IEPSCV have partnered on during this summer.

Over the summer these free collaborative events have continued to grow in popularity and succeeded in bringing the community together through artistic expression.

IEPSCV has a mission to provide a supportive, positive and inclusive environment for everyone in the community and does so with donations, according to the IEPSCV website.

Canyon Country park is located at 17615 Soledad Canyon Road, in Canyon Country.
