One person was killed and one person was transported to the hospital in a three-vehicle Santa Clarita crash on Thursday, officials said.
Around 5:40 p.m. Thursday, emergency responders received reports of a traffic collision with persons trapped on the 17000 block of Soledad Canyon Road in front of Canyon Country Park in Santa Clarita, according Jeremy Stafford, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
One person was killed and two other patients were transported to the hospital as a result of the crash, according to Fire officials.
The extent of all other injuries sustained had not been made available as of 6 p.m. Thursday.
As of 6:20 p.m., Soledad Canyon Road was closed for an unknown duration, according to officials on scene.
