Around 10 p.m. Thursday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision on Sierra Highway near Via Princessa in Canyon Country, said Jon Matheny, an inspector for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“There were two vehicles and a motorcycle,” Matheny said. “The motorcycle was on fire at one point.”

Donovan Daniel Williams, 23, from Newhall, was killed in the crash, said Sarah Ardalani, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.

Another person involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition, according to Fire officials.
