Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger announced Friday that the L.A. Air Show is scheduled to bring their aviation spectacle to the community for the first time in two years.
Locally identified as the L.A. Air Show, the AirDotShow Live Tour has reached an agreement with L.A. County officials to expand their seven destination tour to the Antelope Valley, just north of Santa Clarita.
“The return of air shows this spring have been an inspirational and patriotic sign of reopening in communities across America,” Barger said. “I’m pleased that our Antelope Valley community, which is so deeply rooted in aviation, will be able to share in this excitement as we return an air show to Fox Airfield this fall.”
Originally expected to visit six destinations in 2021, the organization has decided to expand the tour to include an additional air show in L.A. County on October 23 and 24 at General William J. Fox Airfield in Lancaster.
The United States Air Force Thunderbirds are expected to headline the event before featuring the F-35 Lightning II Demo Team as well as a variety of airshow performers and static displays, according to the L.A. Air Show.

Simultaneously providing “an unparalleled, in-person spectator experience,” The AirDotShow Live Tour can also be reached by a national and global audience through their AirDotShow Livestream, according to the L.A. Air Show.
The 2021 AirDotShow Live Tour consists of Cocoa Beach in Florida, Fort Lauderdale in Florida, Ocean City in Maryland, Atlanta, New York, Orlando and the season finale in L.A. County north of Santa Clarita.
