UCLA is scheduled to host a blood drive at Real Life Church later this month, and is seeking Santa Clarita residents to participate.
On Wednesday, June 23 UCLA is set to host COVID-19 antibody testing along with a blood drive at Real Life Church, according to officials.
Antibody testing may be performed with select blood donations according to blood drive officials.
“Blood donation is considered essential per the Governor’s executive order,” said blood drive officials.
This blood drive comes on the heels of the Southern California area seeing a shortage of blood, according to the American Red Cross.
The blood drive is expected to take place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on June 23 in room 214 of Real Life Church, located at 23841 Newhall Ranch Road in Valencia.
