The Boys & Girls Club of the Santa Clarita Valley has announced their 49th annual Bubbles & Bids Auction, scheduled to take place June 5.
The Bubbles & Bids virtual event hosted by the Boys & Girls Club is set to take place at 7 p.m. on June 5 and feature a live and silent auction, with proceeds going towards club programs.
“As we look ahead, and start to come out of our bubbles, we hope you will join us in supporting Santa Clarita’s youth,” said Matt Nelson, CEO of Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley. “We kept programs and services going over the last year, meeting each challenge along the way.”
The goal of the event is to raise funds to support afterschool programs hosted by the Boys & Girls club, according to representatives.
“For kids, the Club will restore a feeling of safety that has been lost,” said club representatives. “As parents get back to work, they will need a safe and positive place for their children.”
Although the event is scheduled to be held online, attendees are set to be provided with dinner from either Wolf Creek or Salt Creek Grille.
For those who reserve individual seats, dinners are slated to be available for pickup at the restaurants the day of the event.
Those attending the event can also purchase tiered sponsorships.
The event dinner is scheduled to occur from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with the pre-event scheduled to take place from 6:45 to 7:00 in the evening.
The live event itself is set to begin at 7 p.m. and end at 8:15 p.m.
“Our kids and teens need your help now more than ever,” Nelson said. “It’s going to take a village to heal our community.”
Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
