Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Newhall Crash

A pedestrian was sent to the hospital Friday evening after being struck by a vehicle in a Newhall crash, officials said. 

Around 7:40 p.m. Friday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision on the 24000 block of Pine Street near Sixth Street in Newhall,  Miguel Ornelas, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

“We responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle,” Ornelas said.

As a result of the crash, one person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition, according to Fire officials.
