A brush fire broke out in Agua Dulce Wednesday near Escondido Canyon, prompting a response from firefighters.
The brush fire was first reported to firefighters Wednesday around 11:30 a.m. near the 14 Freeway and Escondido Canyon Road in Agua Dulce, said Marvin Lim, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

As of 11:40 a.m. the fire is currently at about a quarter-acre burning in medium fuels, according to Fire officials.
