Don’t Expect Everything to Go as Planned
This has to probably be the most important thing to keep in mind when you start renovations. No matter how much you plan, chances are something can go wrong or take more time than usual. You may look at your house after you have moved out all the furniture and notice cracks in the wall which need to be fixed and you had not planned that before. So be sure to keep some extra time and money when starting with such a project to avoid frustration.
Renovation can be a daunting task but when done with a proper plan and patience can be a rewarding experience for a long time.
