Suspect Arrested In Valencia For Possession Of ‘Billy Club’

A suspect was arrested in Valencia Friday for possession of a “billy club” and Xanax after being pulled over by patrolling deputies for speeding.

Deputies patrolling on Decoro Drive and McBean Parkway around  10 p.m.  Friday observed a vehicle driving above the speed limit, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. 

When stopped, deputies observed the suspect to be in possession of a “billy club,” or a police-style baton, in plain sight, according to Arriaga. 

“During a search of the person, deputies located a bottle of Xanax pills not prescribed to the suspect,” Arriaga added. 

Johnny Fetalvero, 24, from Saugus, was arrested for felony possession of a billy club and misdemeanor possession of Xanax without prescription, Arriaga added. 

Fetalvero was arrested and transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail with bail set at $0, according to arrest records.
