A Saugus man was arrested on a slew of charges Tuesday after drugs and shaved keys were found in his vehicle.
Juvenile Intervention Team (J-Team) deputies patrolling Saugus at around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday contacted a man in a vehicle with expired registration on Caceras Street, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“After learning the male possessed narcotics inside the vehicle, deputies completed a search of both the male and his car,” Arriaga said.
While searching the suspect and vehicle, several shaved keys commonly used for stealing vehicles were reportedly located, along with drug paraphernalia, a plastic bag containing cocaine and multiple plastic bags of methamphetamine totaling approximately one ounce were recovered, according to Arriaga.
