A reported street race in Valencia was stopped by California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers Friday night.
Friday night at around 9 p.m., CHP officials from the Newhall Area Office received information about street racers meeting in the industrial area near the 5 Freeway and Highway 126.
“Officers responded to the scene and immediately saw (an) illegal race in progress,” posted Newhall CHP. “As officers attempted to stop the two vehicles, a third vehicle suddenly crossed into an intersection.”
The red car pictured, was being drifted and circled at the same time, a maneuver commonly referred to as “donuts.”
Officers initiated a stop and the driver was arrested and his car was impounded, according to the social media post.
