Jakes Way Crash In Canyon Country Sends One To Hospital


One person was sent to the hospital Wednesday afternoon following a Jakes Way crash in Canyon Country.

Around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision on Jakes Way near Sierra Highway in Canyon Country, said Franklin Lopez, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“Per Sheriff’s, it was a two-vehicle traffic collision,” Lopez said.

While initial reports indicated that a person was trapped, everyone was reportedly out of their vehicles when firefighters arrived on scene, according to Fire officials.

One person was sent to the hospital in unknown condition as a result of the crash, according to Lopez.
