A fully involved Val Verde structure fire Tuesday morning prompted a response from firefighters.
Around 4:55 a.m., first responders received reports of a structure fire in the 29800 block of Central Avenue in Val Verde, said Ami McBride, a dispatch supervisor for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“It was a two-story house with smoke and fire showing,” she said.
Firefighters worked for nearly an hour before declaring knockdown of the blaze at 5:43 a.m., according to Fire officials.
One person on scene was reported to have had shortness of breath, however, no one was transported to the hospital, according to officials.
