A rolled over vehicle following Castaic traffic collision blocked northbound 5 Freeway lanes Wednesday night.
Just after 8 p.m., reports were received of a traffic collision on the northbound 5 Freeway near Hasley Canyon Road, according to Supervisor Ornelas with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A passenger vehicle collided with the rear of a big rig and was overturned onto its roof, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP) traffic incident logs.
“There were no persons trapped,” Ornelas said. “Our units are still on scene and we have not sent anyone to the hospital yet.”
No major injuries were reported in relation to the incident as of Wednesday night.
The number 1 and 2 lanes were closed while the debris from the crash and emergency vehicles blocked the roadway, according to CHP.
