A solo-vehicle car crash in Canyon Country took down a traffic light near Sierra Vista Junior High School early Saturday morning, officials said.
The call came in just before 1 a.m., when emergency responders received reports of a traffic collision at the intersection of Whites Canyon Road and Pleasantdale Street, right near Sierra Vista Junior High School, according to Supervisor Ellis with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“It was a single-vehicle crash, we didn’t transport (anyone),” said Ellis.
The traffic light at the intersection of Whites Canyon Road and Pleasantdale Street was damaged in the crash, and would potentially impact traffic in the coming hours, according to officials on scene.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation as of 1:31 a.m. Saturday morning.
